Pincer-Like Forcipules

The very first pair of a Centipede’s legs form a pincer-like attachment called Forcipules. Centipedes use them to capture a prey and inject venom. In defence Centipedes can cause a bite to humans as well. The physiological reaction could chills, fever, weakness and severe pain.
